Ingredients
Dough:
125g strong white bread flour
¼ tsp of salt
¼ packet yeast
1 tsp sugar
75ml lukewarm water
olive oil
rosemary
Method
- Place the flour and salt into a bowl and make a well in the middle.
- Add the yeast and sugar to the lukewarm water, mix with a fork and leave for a few minutes.
- When it starts to foam, slowly pour it into the well, mixing with a fork.
- Once the ingredients come together, knead for 5 minutes until you have a smooth, springy dough.
- Lightly oil a bowl with some olive oil and transfer the dough to the bowl. Dust with a little extra flour and leave to prove in a warm place for up to 30 minutes.
- Mould the dough into a rectangular shape on a baking tray and press down with finger tips.
- Chop the rosemary into small pieces.
- Finish with a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt and rosemary.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 220 degrees C until golden on top and soft in the middle.
